Who needs our support:
- Children who do not go to school because their parents cannot afford their education. Many families are too poor to pay for the school supplies for their children.
- Parents who cannot afford to feed their children - let alone how to finance the education of their children.
- Children (Orphans) who have lost their parents through AIDS.
- Young adults with no formal education.
- The elderly who are too old and/or poor and cannot pay for their medical needs.
- Children, young adults and the elderly who have no access to clean drinking water and sanitary facilities.
How we help the local population:
1. Hygiene and Healthcare:
- Improvement of medical care and prevention of diseases such as HIV / AIDS, malaria and yellow fever, for example, with free immunization and information campaigns to combat such diseases. Hygiene and education helps to prevent many diseases.
- By providing access to safe drinking water and sanitary facilities, many diseases can be prevented.
- Healthcare for elderly people, for example supply of drugs and psychological support for age-related diseases such as adult-onset diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, etc.
- Reintegration of mentally ill street- and orphaned children, and street children who became violent offenders. This should be realized through the use of psychologists, physicians and caregivers.
2. Education and Income:
- Raising funds to build schools, training and employment centers people in need.
- Information events, seminars, debates and theater projects on the social situation, as well as over the daily life of people in developing countries.
- Projects for Adult Education, for example, adult literacy through adapted teaching offers.
- Suggestions and training for income-enhancing activities enable families to improve their income and live independently.
- Rehabilitation of orphans and street children to be made possible by education that combats illiteracy of children and adolescents. New vocational training paths for young people are to be developed.
- Accommodation of street- and orphaned children to be realized through the construction of orphanages and/or the search for foster families to these children.
